Aota – Yearly gathering of the families tied to the ancient clans of Aslann.
Arsibi of the Zenaku – Is the voice of the Zenaku that ensures any decisions made by the matriarch benefit the Zenaku as a clan. The position also ensures that the matriarch is in touch with the collective needs of the two Zenaku tribes, Cartosta and Bretroah.
Babosha – Means my love among the Sosa.
Bagola – Game similar in nature to Chess and Shogi. Its pieces include the Emperor that you are to protect. The Prince is the most powerful piece. There are guardians that protect the Emperor which are made up of many different kinds of warriors including soldiers, assassins, and generals. There are two pieces on the board which are the advisers to the Emperor. It is a game meant to take hours with two brilliant minds battling each other. Silver pieces go on attack first while Onyx pieces go on defense at the start of the game.
Botahmo – Cursed one
Bretroah – Zenaku tribe known for their exotic look. They generally have dark hair and eyes and skin ranging from medium tan to dark.
Cartosta – Zenaku tribe which tends to have skin in the lighter tone ranges. They are most known for removing the eyes of those that develop the Zenaku clairvoyance ability.

Cotato – Popular snack food in Aslann made of corn and flour with a variety of fillings. Sometimes called a “pancake” pie, the most popular has an even chocolate spread.
Dawlaz District – During the days of historical Aslann the Dawlaz District was known for its seedy environment and was generally the main district for criminals to hide or for men to find all variety of prostitution and slaves. During the modern era, it is the poorest district of Thacian City with the highest crime rate.
Dog or Dogs – In historical Aslann it was not uncommon for nobles to say they are unleashing their dog or dogs of war. Which was a subtle way of saying they were sending their assassins to kill people. This term was used for clans like the Kari, Maiba, Saitama, and Sweela and in the more modern setting became a derogatory term used primarily when speaking about the Kari and Maiba; i.e. Maiba or Kari dogs.
Dragon Lords of the Shima – Three mighty generals; Bai, Shun, and Tan, that led the Shima and ruled over Shimragata during the days of historical Aslann.
Emperor Miroku – Twelfth Divine Ruler of the New Aslann Empire. In historical Aslann, Emperor Miroku was considered to be the most powerful and dangerous Tylo. He became the Emperor when he was a child and held that position for thirty-four years.
Eotuska – Elder of the Kari; He stands as the leader of the Kari and voice of the God Kazuma.

Forest of the Ancients – Garden of the Gods located on Earth. It was believed to be the birthplace of chalta’s and where each clan was given their unique abilities.
Gods of Aslann – While many gods appear in Aslann mythology, several appear among Aslann religions. Kazuma who is considered the creator of the world and life itself is known as the King of the Gods. He divided parts of himself, creating the God of War – Ryozo, the God of Death – Rin, and the God of Love – Hisoka. The gods warred against each other and in the center of their battlefield rose up a single flower. Kazuma believed it to be the most beautiful of all his creations, so he turned it into the Queen of the Gods – Tearra. In most historical text the five great gods walked the earth at one point and became the founders of the Kari (Kazuma), Tylo (Tearra), Hamara (Hisoka), Ishi (Rin), and Waichia (Ryozo).
Heroska – Kari “Pride” Bracelet. Kari boys begin their journey into manhood with a rite of passage called the Kari trials. In Modern Aslann, the earliest recorded trial was given at the age of eight. When they complete the trial tasked by the Elder and Shield they are considered a man with a voice among the Kari. If they fail they have no power and no voice among their kin. Kari men that have completed the trials are given a bracelet made of Osmium. Some say the bracelet is magic because it appears to be indestructible.
Hisoka – The God of Love in several Aslann religions including the Kari religion of Osog and the Hamara religion of Omarith.
Imitso Encephalopathy – Progressive genetic neurological disorder that causes an advance stage of deterioration in mental faculties and afflicts those with Ishi blood to varying degrees.
Kazuma – The King of the Gods and creator of life within several Aslann religions, including the Kari religion of Osog.
Kita – Famous Author in Aslann from the Hamara Clan. He is known for his works of love, especially his poetry.
Low Blood – Derogatory term used by the elite of Aslann for those who were not born with wealth and privilege.

Meratoia – City within Aslann known as the “modern day” Kari Village. The city is predominately Kari and many describe it as ‘stepping back in time’ due to its historical features in the modern world.
Nayta – Kensuku Language
Nakamaru – A group of demons created by Rin that possessed humans from various clans.
Oissorti – A Kari that has betrayed the ways of the Kari.
Oohsa – Yamada Language
Oma – Words of wisdom spoken by a Kari father to his son before the final trial into manhood. They are considered the parting words between parent and child because after the trial the Kari boy will be a man and is believed to no longer need the guidance and support of his father.
Oscalpa – Known as The Coupling in the written word of the God of Death Rin, it is when female Tylos seek out a mate rather than have one seek her out or forced upon her.
Osoma – Important figure among the Kari who oversees the trials and then adorns potential Kari with the God Kazuma’s Marks of Power. These marks signify that those individuals among all others will have powerful voices within the Kari and are granted the gift of becoming the vessel for Kazuma if he ever again walks the earth.
Partut – Slang that is generally used as a derogatory word for those of elite status. In modern day Aslann, the word is more often used to describe upper class girls rather than boys, but prior generations use the word for both genders.
Purasa – Precognitive ability of the Tylo known as Future Embodiment which allows them to see all possible future outcomes for any given situation.
Rin – The God of Death in several Aslann religions including the Kari religion of Osog and the Ishi religion of Esspersset. In many historical text it was said that Rin was a rival of Kazuma, The King of the Gods, for the affection of Tearra, the Queen of the Gods.
Rom Kaga – Fighting style of the military which encompasses short punches and strikes with anything available: Knees, hands, elbows, even a well-placed head butt. A soldier uses their peripheral vision to ascertain the targets around him. He goes for the weakest to the strongest. He is focused, aggressive, and concentrates only on the selected targets vital points until they are disabled, preferably dead. The vital points it targets are the top of the head, forehead, temple, eyes, ears, nose, under the nose, jaw, chin, back of ears and base of skull, throat, side of neck, back of neck, front of shoulder muscle, collarbone, armpit, spine, nipples, heart, solar plexus, diaphragm, floating-ribs, kidneys, abdomen below the navel, biceps, forearm muscles, back of hand, groin, outside thigh, hamstring, knee, calf, shin, Achilles tendon, ankle, instep.
Ryozo – The God of War in several Aslann religions including the Kari religion of Osog and the Waichia religion of Herda.

Shoruta – Innate Kari ability known as Adaptive Muscle Memory which allows them to see actions or movements done and replicate them.
Snakes of the Ishi – The Ishi are known as the ‘Snakes of the Ishi’. It is not uncommon for members of the Ishi to refer to themselves as ‘true snakes of the Ishi’. However, when non-Ishi use the word snakes to describe the Ishi it is generally considered derogatory. Most older Ishi would find it offensive. Younger Ishi are less likely to be troubled by “outsiders” referring to them as snakes.

Tationy – Shima word meaning exiled.
Tearra – The Queen of the Gods and ‘wife’ of Kazuma in several Aslann religions including the Kari religion of Osog and the Ishi religion of Esspersset. In the Ishi religion, Tearra was referenced as having foresight which was often coveted by the other gods especially the God of Death, Rin. In many ancient text believed to be written by Rin himself he refers to the Tylo eyes as theeyes of the goddess.
